About me and my passion for cars
ever since I was a kid growing up in my native country (PERU)I've
had a love for cars ;I remember my father would buy me molding clay(I was like around 6 or 7yrs old) and I would mold little cars with it,and play with them, the fancy toy cars to have back then were the british corgis cause the were more realistic looking,and the other were the matchbox;as I got a little older my father and my uncles would take me to the dirt bike races,and go cart races;and rally car racing; my dad and his brothers were into it ,and in the process got me more in to it also,I also came to find out that I had an uncle who did race a bmw 2002 on the rally called "el camino de los Incas"in english would be the pathway of the Incas,or road of the Incas;after my parents divorce my old man stayed in Peru and my mother brought us here (me & my brother),though the passion stayed dormant for a few yrs,it woke right up after I started driving .
My first car
my first car was a hand me down from my mother, a 1968 chevy Impala fast back,non ss with a 327,I was 16 at the time and was into cars,but was more into the new cars,then being 1979;a few mos after driving the 68 ,I was lusting for a Z/28;got into liking the Z cause a neighbor had a brown 77 with the gold striping; so beggin mom to co sing she alow me to get a new 79 350 with a 4 spd ;had to work to jobs to pay for that sucker,but it was worth it.

My dream car
1 of two :53 caddy coupe fast back or a 53 chevy bel air convertible,with a continental kit,either with it's vintage drivetrain or modern type.

none at the moment,work and projects at home don't give enough time

- I like the two Monzas you used to own. They are getting harder and harder to find parts for let alone a complete car. Thanks for the comment on my Monza. Check out the garage as I have a new one in the build up stages and I am going to attempt to get one or two more on that I own added as well. All tubbed out except for the one I used to own. Check them out. Louie the Lizard is actually the slowest one in my garage. lol

- Back in the late 90's there was a gentlemen named Steve Hamm, and he made headers for this application, however he only made and sold like 4 - 5 sets from what I've heard.
I got lucky and found someone that had bought a set, except this guy ordered them specially made in stainless steel so these are pretty much totally 1-off custom headers for all intents and purposes. :-D
