I never really got into cars until I bought my Firebird a little while back. I only bought it because I was tired of driving something as dorky as a Taurus station wagon (eeesh, what a Mom-Mobile!). I saw an ad in the paper for a Firebird in my price range and went to look at it, and I was hooked as soon as I saw it. Turns out that I really got a good deal on it, since I've been offered TWICE what I paid for it by a guy at a gas station, and I wasn't even looking to sell it! That's when I started really noticing cars for the first time in my life. I guess I'm a late bloomer.....
My first car
A P.O.S. 1995 Ford Taurus wagon. My folks tried to trade it in on a new car a few years ago, and the dealer all but laughed in their faces! So, instead of trading it, they gave it to me.

- How did I miss it for so long? Your Firebird is named for a character in Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum mystery novels, thye same series my screen name and my Range Rover's name came from! How cool is that?
