About me and my passion for cars

I love cars. I've had a car ever since I was 14. My dad always had different cars when I was growing up and my whole family is into cars and even the girls know a thing or 2 about fixin' them cuz there have been a few crap cars around, but who hasn't had one of those before?
I like learning more about them, working on them, photographing them, going to car meets, shows, and different events. Its something fun that has always kept me out of trouble for the most part =P

My first car

Well I got my first First car when i was 14 and it was a '72 Super Beetle. Ugly green thing. Bought it, brought it home, found out it had no floor lol it was ply wood covered with floor mats. So we got rid of that one. Bought a '74 Super Beetle. Nice gold color. Had the engine rebuilt, then dad backed it into a spot with one of those bumper stopper things and messed up the reverse gear on the tranny lol. Soo we gave up on that and for my 18th birthday I got an '88 Chevy Beretta. I LOVED that car. She was my baby and my actual true first car. I ended up crashing her in the back of an Explorer and totaled her =(

Car I wish I still had

My Beretta. I crashed it and it wasn't my fault! So my parents sold it to a friend who wanted to fix it, and he did. I cried when they towed it away. And 2 years later I had the chance to buy it back, but it still had brake problems and I just didn't want to take the chance of having the same thing happen again!
