About me and my passion for cars

My name is Harry and along with my girlfriend Kelli have been enjoying classic cars for about 10 years. Money always seems to be tight and we've sold most of them too soon. We named the Buick "Janis" after the late Janis Joplin who was singing her little heart out back when the Skylark hit the showroom floor. She came from Mike in Bloomfield Nj and sits in my driveway in Rio Grande NJ.
I might be the world's worst mechanic so i leave that to the experts. I'm like the conductor of the orchestra, making sure every thing comes together. So if you see a green '67 Buick tooling around Cape May County NJ and the driver smiling like a nut, give a wave or stop and say hi.

My first car

A Mitsubishi something or other...totally unmemorable. My first classic car was a 1967 Dodge Coronet with the 318 that was rebuilt. I'd love to know where she is now.

Car I wish I still had

1960 Chevy Bel Air we named "Val" as we bought it on Valentines day.

My dream car

I'm driving it!!! It's a 1967 Buick Skylark Sport Coupe. The hard work is done. She needs a trunk pan, seat covers, carpet and paint. By April 2011 it will be ready for the Boardwalk show in Wildwood NJ.
