About me and my passion for cars

While he was in college, my dad owned two cars: a pair of 1977 and '78 Mustang Cobra II fastbacks. Needless to say, he instilled a natural, inborn love for sports cars in me, especially the Ford model Cobras and Mustangs. Unfortunately, I also inherited the "speeding genes" he posessed in his younger years, and hereby confess to a handful of speeding tickets since taking posession of the 'Stang.

As kids, my brother and I were always collecting Hot Wheels cars, especially sports cars: Mustangs, 'Vettes, etc. We grew up building car models.

I am now a junior in college and enjoy driving my 2002 Mustang around Mobile, AL. I will soon be attending Valdosta State University in Valdosta, GA for the 2008 spring semester. I am a Broadcast Journalism/Communications major.

My first car

1993 Ford Taurus. Solid white with SHO rims and hubcaps. I remember being so excited about it that I bought a Ford racing steering wheel cover and matching floor mats that day. I worked an entire summer in my uncle's auto shop without one day of pay. At the end of the summer he handed me the keys to the car. I drove the life out of it for over a year and it ended up being sifted through our family. It got handed to my brother for a time, while his T-Bird was in the shop undergoing some major body repair work.
My dad just recently sold it, along with a Crown Victoria, to help my brother purchase a new T-Bird.
