About me and my passion for cars

From the first day my Dad let me wash down one of the cars , or let me turn a wrench under the hood (in hopes it would one day be mine), I’ve always had an affinity with American Automobiles. I recall high school days where Chevelles/Novas/Camaros/GTOs peppered the parking lot and the guy with the biggest motor usually got the biggest looks (and the best looking girl!). Cars are as much a part of our American culture as Apple Pie, and white picket fences. They symbolize who we are, and where we came.
As I’ve gotten older, the thrills of fancy paint jobs, and big motors (although still very much a part of the hobby I love) has been superseded by the friendships that have developed with folks in this hobby. They are simply the best of the best. So, that’s my affinity for cars in a “nut shell.” The hobby was initiated by an experiences shared with a father, developed into a means to “qualify” oneself as a young man who had arrived, and finally, sharing the love for cars with a group of great people.
