About me and my passion for cars

As a child I became very facinated with cars after attending a local county fair and witnessing th Joey Chitwood Daredevils perform. When given the chance to select my High School I chose Easten Voc Tech and the Auto related trades. That really did it for me. After High school I wrenched as a mechanic on construction vehicles and equipment. The guy I worked with had this killer 66 Chevelle. I knew I had to have one. I ended up buying my first car from the receptionist a 1970 Chevelle. Since then I have restored that very same car and noe cruise every chance I get and attend numberous car shows. This year will be my second Hot Rod Power Tour with the Chevelle. I am now restoring a 1970 El Camino for the wife to drive. LOL

My first car

As mentioned above I purchased my first car, a 1970 Chevelle Malibu from the receptionist at work for $700.00, oayableat $100 a week till paid for. It was a daily driver for many years until my now wife then girlfriend wrecked it 1 door from our home. It sat for 14 years. Now restored and only seen on sunny days.
