About me and my passion for cars

I grew up with a wrench in my hand and always was around all types of vehicles. I learned to respect the art and the power vehicles had. I was tought by my father and I will never forget all those moments we shared and still do. He is who to blame it on, sorry dad I did not mean to throw you under the bus like that but my dad use to have all sorts of cars when I was growing up from bigfoot trucks to small vegas with big engines in them. My family also had something to do with it also, they all had toys. Even to this day I still turn wrenches for a hobby, a hobby you say, yep Its the way I get to wind down from a hectic day of work. Some people think I am crazy, I kinda agree with them but I enjoy it.
Its my peace time. Without a doubt, every year I always have a difffrent toy to play with. Its fun. As long as my wife is o.k with it I think I will continue doing it. or at least till I start paying college tuition off for the kids, they are smart kids I am sure they will get scholarships.....haha!

My first car

My first car I should say was a truck. It was a 1972 Ford f-100 2wd shortbox bed. It still had the original powder blue paint job and I remember everytime i would dry it with my chamois some paint would come off. haha!
It had a 351cleveland with posi unit, B&M shifter with mud terrain tires, I think they were 33's, and they would still get smoked.

Car I wish I still had

My 1985 El Camino, I had a 454 with a 350 trans, Man could that thing fly like a bat out of hell. Thats why I got rid of it. I got into trouble real easy with that thing.

My dream car

My dream car (s) would be a 1969 PONTIAC GTO JUDGE. With the rumble option, and for those of you who dont know, do your homework. It was a cool option to have back in the day. Of course it would be carousel red with black interior, ram air option with the his and hers shifter,wing, dual exhaust, and I can go on and on and on and I would like to have a 49 mercury led sled. flat black with thick white wall tires and red wheels.
