About Mr_Rx’s Garage
About me and my passion for cars
Well i first discovered the joys of rotaries when i was about 12, I saw a brapping RX2 light up the streets. I was very impressed and fell inlove with RX2's. After that i drifted away from rotaries and into V8's. That led me to buy my first car, a 1976 Holden Kingswood HX. Unfortunalty for me it only had a stright 6 202 in it. But i was very happy with it, I eventually blew up the engine. I then went through many cars, A few XF utes, A subaru Leone, A Holden Gemini.
They were all well and good, But they didnt capture my heart and soul. Untill i met my wife, She turned up at my house with her little yellow 12A auto RX7. I giggled but i begged her for a drive. I was hooked. The sound of the rotary, The handeling of the RX7, The tacho going passed 10,000rpm. I NEEDED ONE FOR MYSELF!
So, I baught one, a 1984 Mazda RX7 Series 3. Which had a 13b turbo fitted. I blew it up in 2 weeks :( I was gutted. Its now been almost 2 years sitting in the backyard, Fixing it up piece by piece, At first i just wanted it back on the road but i figured i may as well do it properly the first time. So its had a full rebuild with lots of new parts. Im hoping to have it finished as a christmas present to myself.
