About Muleskinner’s Garage
About me and my passion for cars
I started working on cars with my great grandfather when i was old enough to walk. He started building hot rods in the 1930's. Some of the cars i was able to help him build were a 1966 Chevy Bel Air sedan with a 468 rat motor and a 1970 Ford LTD coupe with a 428 cobra jet motor out of a wrecked 1970 Mach 1. He ran both in the 10.90 dial in bracket, racing the quarter mile at Nebraska Motorplex in Scribner Nebraska and Heartland Park in Topeka Kansas. Both cars ran on all motor. Sadly, he past away after i finished high school and no one else in my family is into cars, so im on my own in this hot rodding game, but my wife loves old cars(not as much as her horses, but what can you do) and so we are trying to do our first project with alot of help from 52hemi here on motortopia and all the great guys from the Stardusters car club from Mead Nebraska. The 1971 Dodge D100 Sweptline pickup thats sitting in our garage(and alot of time in 52hemi's garage) will be a show winner by next summer if everything works out.
