About me and my passion for cars
I’m a hot rod designer/illustrator/graphic designer located in the great Southwestern US.
I’ve been fortunate to not only do what I love for a living, but to have met and created work for my childhood heroes, and have been published in the magazines that inspired me so many years ago.
I’m the proud dad of three boys, and continually try to make my home as car-crazy as the one I grew up in…
My background and training have spanned everything from industrial design to fine art, animation to web design; engineering to graphic design and production, and automotive parts and body work… allowing me to not only offer an arsenal of creative services, but to provide the technical design behind an artistic rendering. After all, anyone can draw a car, really… Designing and restyling requires an intimate knowledge of the machine.
It’s always been my philosophy that simply drawing one style of car or truck (street rod, pro-touring, etc) doesn’t cut it. Knowing all build styles, and being able to draw inspiration from them is the key to creating a unique, powerful design. From jalopies to big rigs, I’m ready to take on your project.
