About me and my passion for cars
It all started at an early age. My grandpa had a '70 Chevelle 502 4-speed with enough power to turn the world on its axis, and my dad had his '71 Cutlass. I grew up around these cars, I rode in them to school, to the grocery store, or even on friday nights to Dairy Queen to get a blizzard. After purchasing my first car, which is a boring daily driver, I got the chance to restore one of the cars I grew up with, my dads '71 Cutlass Supreme convertible. My dad and I did a quick job on it, but it came out great and I took it to my senior prom the next year, and occasionally to school. About a year after finishing the Olds, I had enough money saved up to look at buying a car for myself to restore and enjoy for the rest of my life. I looked long and hard for a '70 El Camino, but all the good ones were in California; a '66-67 GTO, but I couldnt find one in the right price range that wouldnt require an insane amount of money; and '68-70 Charger, hey, im allowed to dream. Anyways, I ran across a '69 Firebird on collector car trader that was nearby and was well priced. I looked at the car the next day and purchased it. After a 2-1/2 year restoration im now cruising around South Florida and enjoying every second of driving my Firebird.
