About me and my passion for cars

I am 40 year old male who works full time with people with disabilities. I am currently involved with a wonderful woman who puts up with all my car stuff lol...She has 3 girls that I completely adore. My passion for cars didn't really start until 2001. I remember being online and saw this 4th generation bird and fell in love with it. I knew I had to get one and with in a month or so I was the owner of my 2001 Firebird. At that time, I didn't plan on doing anything more with it. Then about 2 years later or so I started putting decals on it. After that I added a wings west ground kit, catback exhaust system, chrome wheels,hi flow cat, custom ws9 ram air hood, k&n air filter, and few other minor things to it. It just became a obsession. I started collecting anything with Firebirds, mostly diecast cars, I have over 500 diecast firebirds in all sizes. Then last year I joined motortopia and have met a lot of good people who share the same interest. I went on the 2009 Bandit Run and there isn't enough words to describe how awesome this event is. About a month after the Bandit Run I bought my 1979 Pontiac Trans Am, I have wanted a older bird to go along with my newer one. So now I got 2 birds and I am sure it won't stop there, someday I am hoping to find a first generation bird. Also in 2009 I went to my first Trans Am Nationals in Dayton, Ohio and had a blast. This was the first long travel in my 79 Trans Am and she did awesome the whole trip. No problems what so ever. I didn't enter her in the main show, she isn't quite show quality yet. Maybe few years down the road I will be able to fix her up to that level. Overall she is a good running vehicle with only 73,700 on her. The paint isn't too bad with some spider cracks on the front end and hood. There is a dink on the door that is hardly noticeable. Overall she is in good condition.

My first car

My first real car that I could call my own is my 2001 Pontiac Firebird. I had other vehicles but my Dad and I shared them.

Outside the ones that I already own, I would say a 67-68 Pontiac Firebird! I love the first generation birds!
