About Roadrunnerman’s Garage
About me and my passion for cars
My passion began with my earliest memories of my mom's cars. My first memories was of her '65 Mustang. I remember it was white-on-white and had a 289 and automatic trans. Next was a '74 Gold Duster, I could have ringed her neck (figurtively speaking) for getting rid of that car. Then she had a '67? Buick Skylark (was a rust bucket). My sister and I used to drop things out the holes in the floorboard and quickly look out the back glass to see them go bouncing down the road. One of my mom's boyfriends had a '72 Dart Swinger 340 and a '68 Charger, if only he had stuck around, damn. My first car was a '851/2 Escort (a real piece of s#!t). But at least I got some real lessons in auto mechanics with it. My first NEW car was a '93 Ranger Splash. Then there was an '81 Datsun 210 sedan, I bought it for $150. Then I had my inlaw's '88 Voyager( Ranger almost got repoed). Then had a 2001 Dakota, then a 2003 Ram 1500 (with a HEMI, of course). Now I have a 2005 Toyota corolla (Ram was costing too much in gas, wish I kept it though). But my most favorite vehicle of all is my current project, My '73 Plymouth Roadrunner "clone". I also work on cars for a living, I'm an ASE Master certified technician with L1 Advanced engine performance cert.

- I like the Roadrunner!
I hope you can make it down to Newpor News in October for the Virginia Fall Classic (http://www.vafallclassic.org/index.php); it is a charity benefit that raises much needed funds for the Childrens Hospital of the Kings Daughters (CHKD) and every penny goes to CHKD.
Also, the Tidewater MOPAR Club (http://www.tidewatermoparclub.com/) will be hosting "MOPAR Madness" Jun 13-14 at VMP.

Filed under: 1973 Plymouth Road Runner (Project)
I started the restoration of my 1973 Plymouth. The pictures in my album show (thankfully) no major rust through and no unibody damage. All I need to do is to try to reshape...
