About RunAwayNJ’s Garage
About me and my passion for cars
I grew up around cars - my grandfather, father, and their friends. My grandfather had a collection of 1970's Oldsmobiles - Delta 88, Cutlass, and even a 442. My father had several cars over the years as well - 1938 Packard, 1958 Cadillac Convertible, a 1984 Monte Carlo, and a 1989 Mustang. Our neighbor and friend was a mechanic, and myself and my friends spent a lot of time in his garage working on everything from a 1968 GTO, to a 1969 GMC Truck, and a 1964 Corvair Convertible. It's easy to see why I got the car bug early.
It started with a 1979 Trans Am, and then graduated to a 1985 Trans Am, a 1984 Grand Prix, a 1985 Grand Prix, and a 1989 Trans Am. Now my wife and I have a 1986 Olds 442, a 2001 Sebring Convertible, and a 1993 Ford Explorer, 1 of each of the big 3 American Auto groups!
