Very nice! I came so close to buying an Elise... I went to look at a car for a friend and ended up with a Z06 Corvette instead. The next week an Elise showed up used in the color and options I wanted with 500 miles for less than my Vette..... I was pissed.

Honestly I was always envious of KG and CO and was even considering a trade. AW was one of two on the lot and I fell in love.

I have always liked the styling. We have a few running around are area. I have had the chance to try one out. Great car, just a little small for me.

I think everyone was kinda irritated by it, pretty obvious that the person called in all the Saab people he could find. I didn't think my car would win but I was kinda surprised at the really low number of votes for it.

Yeah, it was RR of the day on my birthday (Dec. and then won RR of the week for that week. The theme was "forced induction" week and mine is a factory turbo Vair.

I agree, small world! (Internet!)

Looks like we have tough competition for the RR of the Year, that Jag is strong...

Shaggy, thanks for the comments on the Mallett. I would love to drive a Lotus like yours sometime, I bet they are a scream to drive and yours is a pretty cool color too.

I haven't ran the Jetta up the mountain yet, but she's seen Road Atlanta, back when the VR6 was stock.

Hey thanks. Yeah, most of the active posters on my website have garages here. I saw a note in the Motortopia monthly newsletter recommending posting your challenges on your local forum, so I did (the owner of this site recommends it too). Heh, lemme tell you, it works really well. We have a really tight group on our site (you saw some of our guys police Midnight, we moderators love that) and they love to show support. Especially when it's one of the more popular cars on the site. Anyway, regardless of how the challenge goes, good luck and I'll see you around!

Thats cool, I just get irritated when folks (like the MIDNITELT1Z) help support a stereotype. I actually like your SS a lot, reminds me of a built up one around here in southern Indiana. I think his is the next generation newer but the modifications sound pretty similar to his.

I figured you had some folks from an f-body club voting in your favor (majority of your other challenges are just waaay too lopsided) so I called in a couple Elise folks to help even it out a bit. I don't really "like" that as it seems like pulling together a bunch of obvious votes (really, would anyone expect a Camaro enthusiast to vote for any import?) to help boost your numbers, but I figured what the hell with this one challenge. I've already told folks to not mess with my other challenges as I'd like to keep them completely fair. Not saying what you do is cheating, just seems like exploiting a loophole though.

I'm driving it now, just needs more work. I didnt take pictures of the drivers side for a reason haha. I have a few mechanical things to finish up but it runs.
