About me and my passion for cars
Welcome to ThDragon's Lair: Ok I admit it and I did not have to go through therapy to admit it...my Dad scared me for life. Do not get me wrong I love my Dad and would not change him for the world. But when I was 15 1/2 we traveled from Charlotte NC to Nashville TN to pick up my sisters 72 Toyota Carina for $75 (yes I did not spell it wrong-they made them for two years). My sister sold it to a junk yard and I got the car in boxes and rebuilt it as my first car. A 4 cylinder hemi...blew it up 6 times in the first year-after the first engine pull I painted the engine hemi orange. Second car a MG special edition midget...that car could break down sitting still in the garage..it did not need a reason! Third car a Toyota Celica GT lift back..I balance blue printed headers straight pipe to Ansa dual resignator tips...back in the day a 280ZX dominator. 4 cylinders all the way...Dad did not approve of anything over a 4 banger-UGH!!!!
Then purchased my own first car a Toyota Supra Turbo one of the most comfortable cars I have ever driven and fast! One of my favorite cars...and this passion continues today and several cars in between!!!
