I have been involved in Drag Racing since High School (1960) This season (2009) will be my 49th year at the Drags. Have had MANY cars over the years. Wish I had kept more pics!
My thanks to my Mother, Marie..8/23/16 - 6/21/08 for her understanding and support of my racing addiction over the past 50yrs. She was was an avid John & Ashley Force fan and supporter and also a great fan of my NASCAR buddy, Carl Edwards. She will be missed both at home & at the track!

- August 8th & 9th. Real Outlaw Door Slammers Show. Car must run a minimal 8.70 to qualify. Must run either Supercharger, Nitrous or Nitro. Door Cars ONLY. Entry is $100 unless you travel over 200mi, then entry is free plus $100 tow money.
I believe they will also be running a bracket program with Super Pro & Pro ET. Don't know about fees for that part. Try Albuquerque Dragway dot com......or Google it up for more info.

- Not well. Car did not hook up at all. Rained several days prior, so not much rubber on track. Hope conditions will be better in Albuquerque!

- Just thought I'd say that I think your Hurst is one bad mother! Although I am young, I wish I could have been around to see some of this stuff when it was going on in the '70s and '80s! Thanks for keeping the sport going! Good luck this year!
