About me and my passion for cars

I grew up with a military dad that loved antiques. I was an only child so I was exposed to the car world at a very early age. I spent alot of time with my dad restoring old cars and learning my way around a tool box. We got my first car and totally rebuilt it together. We used to go to the short track every weekend and I loved it there. Kinda redneck, maybe....LOL

Ever since then I have been a car enthusiast. I worked very hard to buy the first dream car on my list and am steadily working my way through that list. One day I will have my ultimate, an original Yenko.

Growing up, My Next door neighbors were Ed and Cleo Chandler, both into Drag racing as a Mother and Son Team. Cleo was one of the oldest in the Profession. When She died, she left a legacy. She is still missed to this day. I remember sitting on her front porch listening to her tell me racing stories, further fueling my passion for cars and racing.

I met and fell in love with a guy who was into drag racing as well. He introduced me to the a world that I never knew existed. And We bought my second dream car, my Z28.

My Kids love going to the drag strip, I hopefully will get them into Jr. Dragsters when the time is right.
