About WalkersAutomotive’s Garage
About me and my passion for cars
Well, ive always had a passion for cars, classic cars. This truck was my grandpa's who bought it brand new for $11,000 in 1984, it was kept in the garage for a majority of its life until he died and it was handed down to my dad, and sat in his driveway for 9 years. When I was medically discharged from the US Army for injuring my back last Feb my dad presented me with this truck, which had a huge impact on me considering me and my grandpa were very close and he tought me how to drive in this truck when I was 12. It took me about a year to restore it to where it is now and I still feel that theres much to be done, but i think think its one of the better looking 84 GMC's driving on the road where I live. Now me and my 2 daughters can enjoy riding around in this truck the same way me and my grandpa did.
Since I dont have internet at home anymore I have to use my smart phone so I can't upload more photos to my page. But since then I've put on a B&M stage 2 shift kit, dash mounted tach, undercoating, rear end an engine paint and 5% tint on all windows, Edelbrock RPM Manifold, steel braided lines, 13inch Edelbrock Air Cleaner, and a Spectre Air Filter, chrome pulleys, and aluminum radiator. And also two flowmaster 40 series mufflers with a set a Doug's Headers, true duals!

- flushed out the radiator last night, it probly hasn't been changed in years because it was brown. I had to run radiator flush and cleaner through it and it was still murky. Then after I added the mix to it and let it run for 20 minutes and checked it again, it still didn't look likke it wa completely clean. Anyone have any suggestions? Cuz I'm thinking about flushing it out again
