About me and my passion for cars

It probably started when I was very young and my parents would take me to the local car shows. My Uncle Bill, may he rest in peace, was another driving force behind my passion. He would buy these old cars, like a 32 Chevy or an 80's El Camino, and make them look like new again. Then my passion for cars really took control of me when I met a friend in middle school, Mike Sappie. This kid was like a brother to me, and when he passed away at the young age of 15, I had to buy a car in his memory. I bought my 85 Grand Prix April 17th, 2005. Ever since then, I have pretty much cleaned every square inch of the car, at times even using a toothbrush. When it comes to cars, nothing can be more relaxing than cleaning, painting, or replacing stuff. Recently I got the front bumper covers repainted, and to do it the right way, I disassembled the whole front end. That was a task I didn't think I could pull off on my own, but I did with great success.
