well, it turns out that my problem wasn't the voltage regulator. it was the starter solenoid. i picked it up from autozone tonight and will install it tomorrow. then i'll clean...

it's getting parked for the winter, mostly because i don't want to drive it more than is necessary at this point and because i need a voltage regulator that im to lazy to go and pick up right now.

i installed a 1000watt sony explode amp that i got off of ebay today. hooked it all up and cranked it up, sounds good. now i have to hook my 150watt MTX amp to my 2- 6x9 kickers and figure out where to mount them.
