About me and my passion for cars
Currently in the mid-life, I was raised during the muscle car days. Had a '62 SS impala, '67 SS chevelle, and left for service with a '67 firebird 400. Grew up in rural Nebraska with Dad as a mechanic and I was heavy into gears.
Muscle cars, drag racing... it's just a part of my up-bringing and a part of me.
I left cars for the Harley world after Nam. Now, since I've growed up (again), I'm back into the gearhead scene. There's nothing more Red-White-and Blue than muscle cars!
My first car
1962 SS Impala, 327 w/300 heads, 375 cam, 4-speed. Dark blue w/lite blue interior. Buckets, console, etc.
Car I wish I still had
1961 SS Impala, 348 3-2's, auto, factory air, pw, pb, white over red w/red and white interior. A true SS car. Complete in every way. Bought it for $50 with a cracked head. My dad sold it for $150 when I was in Nam. AARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!

We just finished this little '53 GMC and "how sweet it is!" The owner is real happy with how it turned out. This pickup was the bare bones ol farm truck when he brought it in....

FINALLY! I will have to say that this entire experience has been both NERVE RACKING and one EXCELLENT experience. Motor and tranny are in. I took it next door to Sky's Seat...
