About me and my passion for cars
Dad started my mustang habbit by taking my brother and myself on special trips in his 1966 fastback mustang to get ice cream in the summer. We usually only made 4 or 5 trips each summer so they were always exciting. When I was old enough to get a car I got my first 1967 mustang coupe. It was white with a black vinyl top, automatic with a 289. What a money pit it was so I made plans to cut it loose after I graduated. I purchased a 1968 GT fastback in 1993 and in 1995 sold the coupe. During college I took my summer pay checks and sunk them into the 1968 mustang engine. I garaged the fastback in 1999 and it sat there for 8 years. I pulled it out in 2009 and started its restomod restoration which included lots of metal replacment and updating of the drive line and suspension and lots of shiny parts (car bling). I hope to have it finished in 2010 by April or May.

I finished installing the 1968 Mustang updated American Autowire kit. I have never done wiring before and the kit made it as easy as I guess it could be. I spent about 50hrs getting the old wiring out, planning the new wire runs and pulling and crimping...
