About can2tx’s Garage
About me and my passion for cars
I've liked cars for as long as I can remember. My Dad was in the USAF and upon his retirement he became a mechanic for the Ft. Worth & Arlington Fire Departments. Dad was always doing maintenance on our cars and I was out there helping him - "professional flashlight holder", if you will - and learning how to care for cars. Since I've had my own I just enjoy relaxing, caring for them, and working on'em.
My first car
My first car was a 1978 Chevrolet Silverado 3/4 ton pick-up, that I got in 1980. I put chrome wheels, toolbox, push bumper, and a stereo in it (started off with an 8-track).
Car I wish I still had
I wish I still had my 1981 Chevrolet Silverado 1/2 ton shortbed pick-up. My Dad bought it new for me, for doing well in High School and for starting college. I had put custom wheels, tires, push bumper, spotlights, stereo system, and other odds & ends on it. I would also like to have a 1984 4x4 Chevrolet Silverado K5 Blazer that I bought new, it was just a great car.
My dream car
My realistic dream car would be a 2006 Chevrolet Z06 Corvette, but my pure dream car would either be a Porsche GTR or a Ferrari 355, 360, or 430.

Next Mod?

Filed under: 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo (Intimidating SS)
Well, I guess my next planned Mod will be the GMPP lowering springs. I need to eliminate more of the wheel gap and give the car a better stance.
