About me and my passion for cars

All my friends had Muscle cars when we were in school. About 50% Mopars (67 GTX, couple 'cudas, road runner) and about 50% Chevy (Chevelle's, Camaro's, Monte Carlo's). Sold my Camaro when things were rough and two kids in one year...

Looking back I had changed so many parts on the 68 (engine, trans, rear, front springs, rear springs, etc.) I wish I would have kept it.. Had the bad fortune of having to rebuild it after a car fire..I learned a lot from that and it helped me to be able to do most of the work on my cars.

My 96 Firebird started to become so undependable that I told my wife I think it is time for a new car. I was trying to hold out for the new Camaro, but I needed a car that would start everytime.

So, I knew I wanted a WS6 TA. I had test drove one at a dealer and jsut had it in my blood 6 years later I had to have one. Since I had my other firebird for about 10 years, I wanted a car I could enjoy if I had to start making car payments again..

While searching ebay I came across the 2002 Collector Edition TA's. I wanted something unique and fell in love with the paint and looks of the TA. Unfortunately, the ones on ebay were out of my range.

I came across McLaughlin Motorcar Museum on hemmings.com and saw this TA. I called them up and by the end of the day I was wiring them a down payment to hold it. I was a little scare about sending the money, but they had been so helpful and honest about the condition, I believed I could trust them. I couldn't find an easy way to get the car, so I had a company transport it, it was very resonable. The car arrived in the exact shape that was stated.

This year has been a great year, my dad has a 96 Collector Edition Vette and we have attended a lot of car shows together this last year. I am looking forward to the shows next year...
