About me and my passion for cars

I used to cruise up and down the local strip here when I got my first car. I installed an isoberic box with 2 12s, 2 amps, a crossover, and a neon blue light to match the blue car. I used to cruise up and down the streets and show off. Then I met my ex husband and he had a Trans am. I found my new love in life. I started racing at the track. I joined girl speed racing...but didn't really enjoy it much because they were more into the import scene. I then got involved in track racing in bigger events like Super Chevy and Drag wars. I received trophies in both events. I did a lot of racing at the local tracks here near Houston including Houston raceway park. I participated in some bracket racing events and car club events. I won several trophies (over 25) over the past few years. Since my separation from my ex 2 years ago I have not had the time or money to get back into my cars. One of my most memorable memories was being invited to participate in an event near Dallas where I was featured in High Performance Pontiac magazine.

My first car

My first car was given to me by my parents. It was a 91 blue Toyota tercel. I still remember seeing the commercial for it and how much I really wanted one. It was the first car to have the "bubble butt" rear instead of the box rear. I then got a 96 Firebird Formula. Dropped tons of money in that car. Ran in the 11's. Then I got a 79 firebird formula with T-tops. I wanted to race it but it would have taken too much money to mod up so I bought a 81 Camaro. I put a 383 in that and got it into the 11s also. Then I bought a 98 supercharged regal gs when I had my daughter. I got the pulley, exhaust, and a few other mods. I had that car in the 13s. Then I bought a 98 red Transam 6speed. Traded that in for an automatic firebird formula. I found a good deal on a black one and I really love the formulas. I have put over 30k in this car. Then I need an economical car so I bought a 03 Hyundai Accent. That little car was too dangerous. I now have the formula and an 07 Dodge Charger.

Car I wish I still had

I really liked the red Trans am. I missed all that fun with the 6 speed.

My dream car

I'd settle for a Lexus or viper of some kind.
