About me and my passion for cars

My passion started at 14 when I was cutting across the parking lot of Archway Ford on the way home from JR high school, in about 1962. I saw the most beautiful car in the world, an early example of the XKE roadster in a tan color. This had to be sometime in its 2nd year of production. Four or five years later, I was envolved with a guy racing a 1965 TR4 in SCCA club racing . This started my jump started my knowledge of mechanics and cars.

My first car

was a 1963 Corvair Monza. It was super in the snow1

Car I wish I still had

was my 1965 Mustang 2+2. It had a cobra kit and dual exhausts with a 3 speed.

My dream car

I own both of them now. I 1967 XKE and this 1964 1/2 Mustang convertible. A viper RT would be the icing on my cake!
