About me and my passion for cars

It all started when....ha ha. No really, when I was growing up, american muscle was always rolling around the yard. However, it was mostly Chevy Camaros, but I had always loved the Pontiac Firebirds. So when I graduated from high school in '97, I was fortunate enough to receive a 1997 Pontiac Firebird as my graduation present. It had 6 miles on it when I took it home. It was my first FULLY LOADED vehicle. Very nice compared to the other cars I had before that. Looking back on it now, the only thing that was wrong with it was that it was automatic. Yes, I know that now. It was a good car and took me lots of places and saw lots of faces. I put 108,000 miles on that car in a matter of 4 years. I think that's alot, right?! Anyway, @ that point it blew the ignition switch and that's when I decided it was time to graduate to the big dogs....ENTER KPDREMN......

After much research on the 2002 Ram Air's, I came to the conclusion that I wanted a Fully Loaded Maple Red Metallic 6-speed WS6. So that's where the hunt began. After about a month or so of talking to the local dealerships, I came to find out that the WS6's didn't come in that color. That was the worst. Then I spoke with an Internet Sales Woman and she said she knew of a way to get what I wanted. What I did was I ordered a Trans Am and got a Ram Air kit and they threw it all into one price. I was very pleased with the outcome. Now the next thing I had to overcome was learning how to drive standard. On the way home I only stalled out twice, but after a week I had it down. Now I wouldn't even think about having a car like this unless it was standard. I'm glad my '97 was an automatic wee6 (V6 hee hee), because there's no way a 17-year-old should have this much power.

I totally respect the power the LS1's put out. Third is my favorite gear, especially when you're in a tight situation. Then again I always put myself in tight situations cause I love to unleash the POWER!!!
