About me and my passion for cars

My husband Mike and I live in Chattanooga TN. We have 2 daughters, and 3 granddaughters. Our youngest daughter just graduated from UTC, and after her graduation we decided to go back to doing what we love best....playing with our cars. My love for Trans Ams began when I started dating my husband in 1986. His love for them had begun many years before then. He had owned a couple of others but had his 1984 beige Trans Am when we met. He would let me drive it on occasion to work and such. When he was working, I would keep the car and spend hours upon hours cleaning and detailing the car. Eventually we married and drove the car to Gatlinburg TN for our honeymoon. After our youngest child was born, we parked the car in the garage, where it has sat since. We always talked about getting it back out and running but never spent the time or money doing so. We also talked about wanting a 2nd generation car and eventually began the quest for one. We located not one but two of our cars here in Chattanooga. Both of the cars was owned by the same person. He had decided to sell them so he could get a Harley Davidson. Luckily, after looking at both of these cars seperately, he called one day and offered us the two of them for a deal! We bought both of these cars around March of 2009. Our plans were to get them both and sell the white one to help pay for the silver. After getting them, we decided to keep them both.
