My first car

My brother & I shared a 50 Chevy going to work during the summers - eventually I had the exhaust manifold split and added a radio. My Dad had Plymouth 318's in the same period which were 3 spd tree shifters - fair power. My next car was a 56 Chevy 2 dr 265 which was real sharp after I had it painted Auquamarine and reversed the side chrome strips to tail upward instead of downward (mechanically it sufffered). I later had a Black 59 Fury 318 converted to a floor shifter.

After College I had a 66 Chevelle - 327 3 spd - Willow Green with Impala flipper hub-caps - I later added a different cam shaft and a hurst shifter. After Vietnam I bought a 70 Superbee - 383 with the pistol grip 4 spd - VERY fun till gas went crazy.

Marriage tamed my car tastes until after the kids left and now I need a garage for my new Babies!
