About me and my passion for cars

My husband, the gearhead, introduced me to drag racing back in the 80's and I just fell in love with the sounds,smells and speed. I have so many great memories and pics of me with Bob Glidden, Gary Scelzi, Eric Medlen and others. Then we started our own toy, he just wanted to see hoe much HP he could make and still run on street gas. I loved every part of it, though like any good wife,often bitched about cost, until the day he cranked it up with open headers. All the neighbors drove by giving the thumbs up and all the pictures in the house had to be straightened on the wall. Took us 2 days to find the cat. Never missed the Gatornationals, been to Bristol,Atlanta and of course our local tracks. That's the life of being married to and having a best friend that's a gearhead.Sadly he's gone from this life, but sometimes I go to the garage to talk to him and the car, but I gotta stop that!
