About me and my passion for cars

As a teenager all the guys I knew had cool cars. They also knew how to make them GO!! I learned a lot from those guys. I don't know why I had this passion for cars, not your typical girl. I would rather take apart an engine than go to a dance or shopping. I guess I was just a tomboy. It carried over into my married life, ( divorced now) and I still enjoy owning driving and working on them. I don't care much for today's cars, but I love the classics, no matter what make or model. If you own them, then drive them!!!

My first car

a 68 Buick station wagon that my dad bought me. It was a friends car.My father had no clue that it was not exactly a car a 17 year old girl wanted to be seen in. I wanted a mustang or camero, not THAT!! I never drove it....I had boyfriends with HOT cars...learned everything I know from them.

Car I wish I still had

I had a 72 Olds Cutlass Supreme. That car was hot!! Boy could it Move! No power steering but I managed. 350 with a four barrel. My father in-law left it to ME when he passed away. My husband was not happy about that!! Dad knew I could work on it and his son didn't know anything about anything when it came to cars.

My dream car

Oh, I really don't think I have one. I own a 57 Chevy and my best toy, a 1965 Corvair Monza converible. That is a truly fun car. If any thing I would love to get a 32 ford coupe for my 14 year old to work on. He has my passion for classic cars.
