About me and my passion for cars

I'm an American, so what can I say? I'm nuts about cars, and now it's all about my custom one-off golf cars.
Drag racing was my passion as a kid because of the low entry cost. That kick in the pants from screaming down the 1/4 in 12 sec. made my heart pound...and gave my wallet the dry heaves. I always knew/thought I could do it better, and had a lot of fun trying. It must be genetic...now my kid is the same.
Let's get back to the golf cars. That's where the real action is for me now. I can take my time to build something that reflects my or even your personality to make other people stop and stare with shock & awe. We don't just bolt a bunch of crap together. Every step is carefully thought out and finessed. Yeah it costs bucks to build something nice...name one thing that doesn't.

My first car

Oh the days of being a kid. It was a 1953 Studebaker Hawk. OHV V8, 2bl carb,
3 on the tree. Total basket case, but got it running to my parents dismay.

Car I wish I still had

A 1965 Plymouth Belvedere II 2dr Hd Tp with 426 street wedge & tqflite. Police suspension, brakes, tires, and 140 mph+ shudda kept it!!!!!!

My dream car

Still love the Vette's, The often overlooked Honda NSX is my new dream car. Very impressed with Viper GTS too.
