About me and my passion for cars

I like cars, always have. I saw my first Corvair when I was 20. My husband assured me I didn't want one of "those" but a few years later when I still thought I wanted one he decided we go take it for a test drive. He thought that would cure me for sure. Ha, ha!!! It took us about three hours to get it the six miles home (mostly on its own power) and I have been a Corvair owner ever since!

Meanwhile, he's a Nova and Firebird nut (I say "nut" in a loving way.) I like his cars too and love helping out in the garage.

My first car, the Nissan pickup...or Peggy, my first Corvair, a 62 Monza...or my 87 Mazda RX7, but truly I'm happy with what I have now.

My dream car

My Vixen, my 64 Corvair convertible. She's my automotive soulmate!
