About me and my passion for cars

I'm from Toms River NJ, moved to south FL almost 10 years ago and have gone through many vehicles in that time....Since I was a little kid I watched my dad work on cars and trucks. It was in my blood to love them...Most of all, I love muscle cars cause they just pull at our heartstrings and have looks, style, and feel that most new cars don't even come close to.


It took about a year and a half to get to this point...I found this car on craigslist in Pensecola FL after searching for an atlantis blue TA for months....The guy said it was still for sale and right away I made the 8hr trip with a trailer to check it out and hopefully score this 79...I showed up and checked out the car..it didnt run but was in good shape..kinda... so we made the deal..The car was actually VERY original. Original engine, trans, rear, nothing touched and all service records. The man who sold it was now in a wheel chair and didnt have the time to restore the car but was happy to see someone come along to bring it back from the dead. he was the 2nd owner and even gave me the original window sticker. I later found the buildsheet in great shape behind the rear seat. When we got it home the engine and trans were taken out and rebuilt. some rust repair done (was in Chicago for some time) holes in the toe boards, trunk floor, fenders.... changed all subframe mounts...they were shot big time...put in pro touring f body solid ones, pro touring GT suspension kit, all new pro touring heavy duty steering parts, new brakes all around...new interior- steering wheel, dash cover, seats, carpet, weathstripping, plastics....next on the list is air conditioning and new wheels....I'm thinking the Year One 17X9's but would like to see how they look with a lowered suspension.
