About sykestudio’s Garage
About me and my passion for cars
I always had a love of cars, even from being a toddler when I had a great many Dinky and Corgi diecast models (favourites were De Soto Firefly, Chevy Impala, Ford Thunderbird - all 1950s/1960s vintage).
My first real car was an odd choice - a 1965 Ford Corsair - a very Americanised design. This was followed by ... another Corsair (V4 this time). I then had a varied selection of British, French, Japanese and German cars - including, in no particular order: Mini 850, Wolseley 16/60, Vauxhall Cresta 3.3, Opel Kadett SRi, Triumph TR2, Datsun Bluebird 160, Mercedes 500SEC Coupe, Vauxhall Senator 3.0 straight 6, Vauxhall Senator 3.0 straight 6 24v, Renault 16 TL, Renault 16 TX, Renault 5 TL, Renault 5 GTL, Renault 5 Turbo (Mk 1), Renault 5 GT Turbo, Renault 5 GT Turbo "Raider", Vauxhall Astra GTE, Jaguar Sovereign V8, Jaguar XJR, Renault Avantime 3.0 V6, Honda Civic Type-R, Honda Beat (mid-engined open two-seater 3-cylinder 660cc) and BMW Mini Cooper-S Clubman. I still have the XJR, Civic Type-R and Clubman Cooper-S in my little stable.

- You just don't see any Renaults around here. The Roush Mustangs are pretty sweet... There are 3 stages with the first stage being just a body kit and the final stage 3 being supercharged and a whole Roush suspension... I'd love to have one of those but I just can't afford that. My next toy will be my dream Porsche!!

- Thank you for the interesting facts on my car!!! Yes, my car is quite big and heavy--quite a bit more than the previous Mustangs. The nice thing is that it drives a lot smoother (longer wheelbase). Nice cars!
