About me and my passion for cars
I love just about anything automotive but have a true appreciation for the Pontiac F Bodies. I enjoy shows and cruise ins because I enjoy meeting people and seeing what types of things they enjoy doing to their cars. Everyone is different and anything goes. Getting to know someone and learning why they took the route on a project that they did is half the fun of looking and learning.
My first car
My first car in which I learned to drive was a 1972 Impala Custom with a small block 400. It was the family car at the time and probably the reason I learned to like the feel of a bit of grunt under the hood. The first car I bought was my sister in law's 1979 Camaro. After missing a curve and flipping upside down (liability insurance only) I found a 79 Firebird Formula that needed a drive train. My dad and I transplanted the Camaros 305 and interior, and I've been stuck on the Pontiac F Body styling ever since.
Car I wish I still had
1978 WS6 Mayan Red Trans Am that I sold to my older brother. Since it's still in the family I might be able to get it back some day.
