About valiantmopar’s Garage

About me and my passion for cars

I started out young about 11 years of age. I started with an 88 Nissan Sentra. I always had cars that needed to be fixed. I was first a Jeep fan then a Chevy fan. But, now, I'm definately a Mopar fan. Most of my friends have always been car buffs. Not only did we dream of having the ultimate car, but, building the ultimate car was even a funner dream.
Now I just started my own business. Southern California Composites LLC. Building the ultimate car is not just my dream anymore, it is your's as well. That's why my company centers on the individual needs of my customers. We build custom composite parts for your vehicle that won't eat-up your wallet. We work with your budget and also disclose the materials used to build your part. You will find that at So. Cal. Composites, we make custom products that will beat the test of time. Our products take structural loads and won't discolor compared to other products. The molds are typically a one time use. I guarantee my products will meet your custom needs.

My first car

My first car was my 1983 Jeep, which I still have, in pieces of course. I went through so much trouble with that car. It is one of the funnest cars I have driven. It has the 3 inch lift and the big fat super swamper tires.

Car I wish I still had

My 1979 280zx was also a fun car. I loved it when it would rain because of all the fish tailing I would do.

My dream car

My dream car is a 1968-70 Plymouth RoadRunner. I fell in love of this car when I saw it at a gas station all primered-up. It cought my attention when the guy started-it up. Loud-as-hell I remember it was. From then, I became a Mopar fan.

This is a place for 4door and wagon owners to get to know each other and show that these vehicles can be and are cool cars! Some car shows have started having classes for these vehicles and I would like to see more event promoters reconize these vehicles.

Thanks for the comment. From the time I stripped the Jeep down, til the time I got it back on the road, it took about 10 months. It would have been done quicker, but I was working out of a one stall garage at the time in the middle of winter, so some days/weeks things didn't get done on it. lol. Good luck with your build. Take lots of pictures.

Re: the Opel: after high school, my brother got the car and completely redid it (I guess you saw the pics.) He sold it on ebay a few years ago as his family grew, now he has a 65 Malibu SS.
