About me and my passion for cars

My life has always revolved around cars, both as a hobby and a livelihood. I began selling new cars at 21 and have been making a living at it for 32 years. In the 80s and 90s I drove a new car every year (It was a fringe benefit of the job back then). I work and reside on Long Island, New York.

I enjoy participating in car shows. In the the 80's my previously owned Cosworth Vega won "Super Chevy Sunday" class awards for several years. In 1988, I wrote a feature article on the car for the magazine. My currently owned Vega GT won "Best Preservation" in the 2010 New England Concours D' Elegance presented by Hemmings Motor News The car was the subject of a retrospective comparison test in the Fall 2010 issue of Motor Trend Classic. The newest addition to my garage is a 3k-miles Cosworth Vega. This car is also the subject of a retrospective comparison for the Spring 2013 issue of Motor Trend Classic. (see blogs).

I also like vintage bikes. My first bike was a new 1979 Yamaha SR500F. I also owned a 1980 Yamaha SR500G and more recently, a 1975 Yamaha XS650.
