About me and my passion for cars

I grew up at a racetrack my father has been racing cars and motorcycles since before I was born. Ironically enough, he isn't in to them much anymore. I have had a passion for drag racing since I was itty bitty! I spent the better part of my teenage, high school and college years on Chrome Ave in South Dade County Florida or, at Hollywood Speedway in South Florida unitl they shut it down in about 1989 or so. Fast forward 20 years and I stayed in it. The older I got the more me and my friends in Miami, stepped up the level of drag racing that we were involved in. Many of us are scattered through out the performance industry, which is kind of cool. It's nice to be at PRI or some race in Canada or Tennessee or Indy and run into these guys that you haven't seen since they closed the local "street racing" hang out. Anyhow, Regreting I never had the push to take driving a race car seriously, I was determined to be around drag racing regardless of the capacity. I am happy to say I have a successful Marketing company that 99% of my clients are drag racing teams and promoters. I live, sleep, and eat drag racing. And, when I am not doing that I dream about making it better. Passion and love for the sport I believe is what makes success. I love my job and wouldn't change it for the world. I would still love to get an NHRA license one day just to frame it and hang it on my wall in my office.
