About me and my passion for cars

I'm currently in the US Air Force stationed at Whiteman AFB in Missouri. I've been in for over 10 years now...joined straight out of high school. I've been to Iraq twice, both 6 month deployments and Qatar once for 4 months. I've also been stationed in Germany and Delaware. I'm a Water and Fuels Systems Specialist.

My passion for cars started when I was a kid. My only love was pretty much muscle cars. I never really grew up around them though. My family members never owned any kind of muscle car while I was growing up. I Didn't even go to car shows much. From time to time I'd see one on the road and I just couldn't keep my eyes off of them. I used to buy magazines and just loved looking at the photos of those awesome cars. When I was 16, my sister gave me her '91 GTA Trans Am. I loved that car and I had it till 2008. What happened to it is a loooong story....Anyway, After I got back from Iraq the second time, I decided to look into getting a Chevy Nova. I thought, here I am, 27 years old with some money, you can get a decent looking Nova pretty cheap, so, why not? I put an add on Craigslist and a few days later I got a response from a guy in Kansas City! So I checked it out and fell in love. So, here I am with my dream car :-)

I'm mostly into '60's-'70's muscle cars. When I was younger, my dream car was the 1969 Camaro. Then I fell in love with 3rd Gen Novas, so the Nova became my dream car haha. I guess you can say I followed my dreams since I went out and got one!
