I would like to take a moment to thank the Reed Family for putting their faith in The Heart of Dixie Firebird Associaction. You allowed us the opportunity to try and show our respect to Pat by putting on an event that he dedicated the last 30 years of his life. I know the pain is still so fresh for you and i hope you saw that we tried in every way to show respect to your family. We hope that we met any and all of your expectations.

The event was hindered slightly by the morning rain and the forecast, but fortunately the rain held off until 5 minutes after the last trophy was handed out. Thank you Pat! I know you were watching over your show. I am sorry for those of you who had to drive home in the rain, but at least the event stayed dry.

I would like to pay special thanks to Anson Adams, i know you put a lot of time and effort in making this event what it was. Also thank you to each of the club members who helped out. We could not have done it without you.
