St. Louis Area Mopars was established in 2002 with the primary purpose of promoting and encouraging the collection, restoration, modification, customization and/or preservation of Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, and AMC cars and trucks, and providing a means of communication between the owners of such vehicles. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the vehicles produced by the Chrysler Corporation and any of the others affiliated with Chrysler through acquisition or merger. We currently have approximately 250 members from the bi-state region. Members’ rides cover a spectrum of cars and trucks from the 1930s through the ’70s, original or modified, driven or trailered, 6 cylinder to Hemi power, and more.

Our means of keeping in touch with one another is the SLAM YahooGroup. It is an email list comprised of a group of people with similar interests who live in the St. Louis (Missouri & Illinois) area exchanging stories, information, technical assistance, restoration tips, parts availability, and other words of wisdom or advice. There are no club officers, membership dues, or monthly meetings, but we do try to meet up occasionally for local cruise nights, car shows, swap meets, and an occasional picnic or barbecue. While the club is made up of people from all walks of life, we all have one main thing in common: a passion for the great road machines produced by the Chrysler Corporation over the years. You can become one of us if you simply have an interest in these cars, although you must live in the St. Louis area. And I guess if that makes us a “car club,” then MOPAR to us!

Membership Requirements: Must live in the St. Louis metro area.
