Chicago! The Midwest’s international hub for commerce, culture and finance. The Windy City, or Chi-Town–as it is known– is also home to some of the best sports teams in the majors, including the Chicago Hawks, the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago Bears. And now the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, or to be more specific, Rosemont’s Donald E. Throttle-Stompin’, Gear-Bangin’, Corner-Carvin’ Mayhem at Adams Motorsports Park

In today’s world of high performance muscle cars it’s not enough to go fast in a straight line. To hang with the big boys you need to be able to hammer through the hairpins and carve the corners. Several suspension and brake companies have tuned their products toward that effort. There is simply nothing like pounding on the skinny pedal and shaking your fist at the shifter as you throttle your way through a curvy asphalt playground. (more…)

The 13th Annual Southwest Nationals

All of those snowbirds have the right idea: There is a time to be somewhere in this great country of ours, but is has to be the right time. One of the prettiest sites is the Valley of the Sun area of Phoenix, but not at the height of summer. That’s why the Goodguys hold their Southwest Nationals in November (19-21, 2010, to be exact) at the gigantic WestWorld complex in Scottsdale, Arizona. It’s one Phoenix-area show that we always hit.
