Pavement-Stomping Muscle Cars Tearing it up in Tennessee

The weekend of May 20-22 marked the 6th annual Goodguys Rod & Custom Association Nashville Nationals. Held at LP Field inside the Tennessee Titan stadium, more than 1,500 muscle cars, classic trucks and hot rods filled the grounds for some impressive eye candy. Heart-stopping horsepower rumbled through the show as attendees cruised the grounds and exhaust pulsed the asphalt.

If you were looking for some high-speed corner-carving action, it was all going on at the Goodguys Autocross, where several high-caliber cars and well-known drivers were dicing the cones for bragging rights. With several vendors on hand displaying everything from power parts, suspension systems, braking components, fuel tanks, pulley systems, aftermarket A/C systems, hood hinges and countless other performance and styling items, it was easy to get the project itch. The swap meet had a plethora of great, finished muscle cars and project cars on deck to fill that open space in your garage, as well as novelty items to enhance your wrench room décor. In addition, Goodguys Rod & Custom Association memberships were available on site, as well as official shirts, hats, coffee mugs, tin garage signs and other event shwag.
