Holiday Hot Rodding – The 2008 John Force Racing Holiday Car Show

June 10th, 2010

It was the morning of Dec. 7, and all through Yorba Linda, California, many hot rods and muscle cars were stirring and roaring aloud. Exhaust notes pierced the air and tires screeched as participants made their way to the annual John Force Holiday Car Show sponsored by System One and held at the amazing headquarters of John Force Racing. The event’s purpose was as a benefit toy drive for California Highway Patrol’s CHIPs for Kids. Admission was an unwrapped toy to provide Christmas presents for those less fortunate.

Love them drop top Malibus from the mid ‘60s! Editor Noack has his muscle car sights set on one of these to cruise with the family.

Everything from original restored Chevelles to all out corner-carving Camaros, and even a few healthy Mustangs, were on display dropping jaws with their amazing power plants and maximum custom style. Catering from In-N-Out burger provided some good, old-fashioned grub to feed the masses, with the proceeds going to CHIPs for Kids. As an added bonus, John Force Racing was wide open for tours through all of their amazing drag racing memorabilia.
