California Performance Transmission 200R4 Cast Pan

California Performance Transmission is happy to introduce its new 2004R cast aluminum finned pan with a drain plug. Available in standard depth or the deep version designed for high output applications with more clearance, as it’s about 2 inches deeper and holds 2 extra quarts of transmission fluid. In addition to the standard cast aluminum finish, the pan is available in black powder coat or polished aluminum finish for an additional charge. These pans are the perfect choice to go with the company’s 9- or 10-inch 200R4 converter. With stall speed from 2400 to 4,000-rpm, the converters will handle up to 1,000 hp, making these pans the perfect addition to keep your transmission running cooler and longer.

1960-65 Ford Comet/Falcon Power-and-Pinion Cradle Kit From Flaming River

A complete power rack-and-pinion conversion system is now available for the 1960-65 Ford Comet/Falcon for improved steering and handling performance. No cutting, drilling or welding is required for installation—the kit simply bolts into the vehicle’s original mounting holes using basic hand tools. This power rack kit is available with a floor shift tilt steering column, column shift tilt steering column, or no column at all. A brand-new Billet-Power rack-and-pinion is included and provides more than 6 inches of travel and a full turning radius: lock to lock, stop to stop. Every Flaming River power rack-and-pinion is made in the USA, is fluid and pressure tested before it leaves the facility and comes with lifetime serviceability.

Flaming River offers the kit in three different configurations depending on your needs: without a column, with a paintable floor shift column or with a paintable column shift column. The company also offers coated small-block Ford long tube exhaust headers to eliminate clearance issues.

Boom Mat Introduces new Under-Hood Thermal Acoustic Lining

Boom Mat, a division of Design Engineering, Inc. (DEI), offers a full line of products designed to improve ride comfort by reducing unwanted heat and noise.  The company’s new under-hood thermal acoustic lining was designed primarily for the engine compartment as a way to greatly reduce heat and noise with an easy peel and stick product anyone can install. Engine heat and noise is often a problem with today’s modified vehicles packed with high performance components.

Made of ¾-inch-thick, high quality, industrial acoustical grade foam with a reinforced reflective aluminum skin, under-hood thermal acoustic lining not only insulates the underside of the hood for sound deadening and thermal control, it also protects the vehicle’s paint finish. This is also a great product to use to reduce noise on generator boxes.
