Clamping down on the Baer 14-inch discs are the Baer six-piston calipers made from a billet extrusion and bolted together in six different locations for a rigid construction. The Baer caliper uses the same pad as a C-5 or C6 Corvette, making replacements readily available. The Pro Plus 14 system for the ‘Stang comes standard with braided hoses and the ceramic high friction DecelaPad.
The Baer 14-inch rotor and six-piston calipers were slid onto the hub and the pads were loaded. The front is pretty straightforward and easy to tackle. The front and rear system sells for a total of $4,390. That’s pretty fair considering this system can do battle on the daily drive and perform out on the track.
