Note the difference in the decibel readings on the outside of the vehicle (with the engine running), and inside the cabin with the doors shut. While a drop of 13 db might not sound like a lot, keep in mind that they are measured on a logarithmic scale, so a decrease in 20 db represents approximately a 50-percent reduction in sound.
